Description: Stone Environmental School is seeking qualified instructors to plan and lead outdoor lessons in Ecology (forest and wetland), Team-Building (low ropes course, large and small group activities), and Night Activities (night hikes, campfires) to students primarily in grades 4-8. Instructors are required to participate in various duties throughout the week (performing skits, kitchen duties). There is a week of extensive staff training prior to every season.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and a great attitude! A Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, education, science, or a related field, prior experience teaching children and/or leading outdoor environmental education programs preferred but not required. Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required by the starting date of our programming--there may be an opportunity to obtain these certifications during staff training week. Experience with song leading, story telling, and/or addressing large groups is a plus.
